I would like to thank everyone at the Peggy V. Helmerich Women’s Health Center for making each one of my birthing experiences nothing short of excellent. I have had three C-sections at the women’s center - one in 2008, 2011 and 2013. Each time that I went in, every person that I came in contact with treated me, my husband and baby wonderful - every nurse, doctor and office worker. It was very professional and comforting. Everyone, and I repeat, everyone did a great job making sure our visit was special and we were well cared for.
My last cesarean section was very high-risk. I had a condition that was life threatening for me at delivery. The baby had to be taken at 36 weeks and I had to deliver in the main OR due to complications that could occur. I was nothing short of terrified. Since the delivery would take place in the main OR and because of the high risk, my husband wasn’t allowed in the room at delivery. This added to the anxiety. From the moment I walked into the hospital, everyone that was there that day made me feel as if I was the only one at the hospital. They comforted me and assured me that they would take great care of the baby and me. They knew how nervous my husband and I were and they were awesome. When I was taken into the operation room, it was full of doctors and nurses. NICU had to be there, because they had to take the baby early and specialists were there in preparation for any complications. When I came into the room every person in that room shook my hand and introduced themselves to me and made me feel completely at ease. The delivery was excellent - an answer to our prayers. I can’t thank the staff enough for taking such great care of my babies and me each time I was in their care. I am forever grateful to such wonderful people making my family feel special and well cared for.
Thank you from the bottom of our heart. I also want to give a huge thank you to Dr. Mark Harmon and his staff. He was a blessing to our family. We know God sent him to us and because of that my son and I are here today.
With grateful hearts,
Darin, Amy, Emma, Ellyson and Jase Beller
